Time to update the number of cores for Alteryx Server in initial package ?

Hello all,

This may be a little controversial. As of today, when you buy an Alteryx Server, the basic package covers up to 4 cores :

I have always known that. But these last years, the technology, the world has evolved. Especially the number of cores in a server. As an example, AMD Epyc CPU for server begin at 8 cores :

So the idea is to update the number of cores in initial package for 8 or even 16 cores. It would :
-make Alteryx more competitive
-cost only very few money
-end some user frustration

Moreover, Alteryx Server Additional Capacity license should be 4 cores.

Add a tick box selector for downloading multiple outputs

When using a flow that produces multiple outputs each has to be selected in turn and downloaded, which is no effecient.

 

It would be a better user experience if standard selection box functionality where the user can select one or multiple files they wish to download, including a box to select all and where more than a singular file is chosen they are provided as a singular zipped download.

Drillthrough from Diagnositics Page

The Users, Workflows, Collections & Schedules tabs all have hyperlinks to the relevant sections of administration. However, this only shows the current 'as-is' active state. What would be useful is for each number show to have its own drillthrough to that subset of data, i.e. clicking on Inactive under users takes you to a list of inactive users, similarly clicking on Active Jobs under Schedules takes you to the list of actively running jobs etc.

This would provide a more intuitive navigation for admins.

Ability to hide Users & Groups from Collections view for non-admins

Anyone with access to a collection can see the Users & Groups tabs, which show information that is no appropriate for non administrators to see and prompts unwanted questions. Users no not need to know who else has access to the collection and what rights they have.

 

It would be useful if there was a configuration option to hide these tabs from roles below Curator.

Hiding from a choice list an user who is not an Alteryx user

Hello,

Now it is possible to share a collection which a user who is not granted to access Alteryx server.

 

We use AD to grant users access to Alteryx Gallery. However, when a user is not in this group, it is still possible to choose him as a person to share. 

 

In my opinion, such user should be indicated as someone who won't be able to use a shared collection, or he should be presented at all.
