Cannot Disable Server Schedule

Sometimes a schedule is enabled that we want to disable. We edit the schedule, click the button to disable the schedule, click "Save". Then refresh the page and it's enabled still. The schedule will not disable in some cases. In the cases where it does get disabled, clicking the "Save" button appears to have no action. There's no confirmation and the screen stays static. Two suggestions:

  • Have some UI response confirming that the changes have been saved.
  • Provide an error message with explanation when the changes can't be saved (or just fix the bug)

The disable button doesn't work. At Save there's a message saying the schedule can't run due to some date issue instead of just disabling it.

@koski what version are you running? I think the newer version of Alteryx Server may address the date issue. The end date was defaulting to the current time zone and it may have been "in the past" when compared to the server. If you had "no end date" selected like I do in the screenshot, then in the background it's still updating to today's date (even though it's grayed out) which could technically be in the past.
