  • The Community landing page now includes a welcome message to logged in users
  • Community usernames have been added to event registration lists for User Group Leaders
  • A external link icon has been added to the Product Support item on the main navigation 
  • The 'Start Free Trial' button has been updated to match Alteryx styling
  • The 'Dark Mode' option on the profile menu has been localized
  • The Gallery submission form has been updated to include context prompts 
  • The ability to edit bios and profile images has been removed for users rank 1 - 4
  • The Community CSAT survey has been added to the Tool Mastery and Discussion pages
  • Interactive Lessons and Onboarding images have been converted to svgs

  • Private message icons have been optimized for dark mode
  • The discussion feed UI has been optimized for dark mode
  • A mobile bug causing alignment issues on the 'Edit profile page' has been fixed
  • A bug on the the SDK Resources filter has been fixed
  • An html error in the blog text editor has been fixed

  • The Cloud Quest page has been updated with the ability to filter quests based on difficulty, topic, certification and whether the quest has been completed by the user
  • The ability to provide article feedback to the Tool Mastery, Community Resources, and Success Stories has been added
  • A bug publishing API Cloud Resource articles to the wrong page has been fixed
  • The external links pointing users to API Specifications and the Developer Console have been updated in Alteryx IO
  • A bug causing the "Go to accepted solution' button to bring users to the wrong location has been fixed
  • The Community Events filter has been updated to remove excess labels and add relevant labels
  • Text in the User Group Leader invites has been updated to reduce end-user confusion

 

January & February | February 26, 2025

 

  • The text on the exam drop down menu has been updated
  • Padding has been added between the like and count buttons on the Pin Contest board
  • The Contest board has been optimized for dark mode
  • Event images have been optimized for mobile
  • Success Story text has been optimized for dark mode (this update is not retroactive)
  • A loading error on the Weekly Challenge UI has been fixed
  • The ‘Welcome do Designer’ pages have been updated so that all content opens in a new window
  • The Server Administration exam has been updated
  • Studio assets have been audited and assets no longer in use were removed
  • ‘Mission Control’ was removed from the top-level navigation and replaced with ‘MyAlteryx’
  • Non-English support pages have been updated to redirect to the Support Portal in MyAlteryx

  • An error that was causing the General Events filter to incorrectly count event types has been fixed
  • A field for external registrations has been added in the General Events calendar 
  • Standard images for Community Events and User Group events have been added to calendars in list view
  • The right rail component has been removed on the User Groups landing page
  • The Micro Credential exams have been updated with new exams
  • The overlay prompting users to login on the Interactive Lessons has been adjusted to only cover the lesson
  • Halloween bats were added and removed 

 

September Release | October 3, 2024

 

  • Community and User Group calendars UX were streamlined by:
    • Utilizing a 12-hour clock
    • Ordering events from oldest to newest
    • Adding time zones to event calendars that reflect a user's Community time zone setting 
    • Removal of event descriptions from calendar list views 
  • Unique URL created for User Group calendar 
  • Unique URLs created for each of the exam types
  • The in-product 'Welcome to Designer' page was updated to fix article image quality 
  • The in-product 'Welcome to Designer' video size was reduced
  • A bug that disabled the ability for users to easily unsubscribe from podcasts was fixed
  • Mission Control has been added as an item on the top-level navigation 
  • An exception that was causing the international community pages to occasionally fail has been fixed

 

June Release | July 3, 2024

 

  • The Weekly Challenge page was upgraded to include these new filters: solved / unsolved, difficulty level, tools, and certification level
  • Users are now able to pin challenges on the Weekly Challenge page
  • A bug that was causing the wrong post to be pinned on the Weekly Challenge page has been fixed
  • The Alteryx Designer Cloud Core exam was added to the English and international certification exam pages 
  • User Group Leaders now have access to event attendee list after the event has passed

  • The Community FAQ page has been optimized for dark mode
  • The cookie banner has been removed from the in-product "Welcome to Designer" page
  • A tag to block third-party search indexing on blogs has been implemented 
  • The "Top Authors" component has been removed from the Support page 
  • The international exam certification pages have been updated to a new page layout
  • A "Contact Community Support" option has been added to the user profile menu in the upper right
  • Alteryx IO had two new category-level boards added, as well as a Cloud API Resource tkb board. 
  • The custom tag UI has been optimized (only visible to Community admins)
  • The User Group photo component has been removed from the category-level User Group pages 
  • The text color in private messages has been optimized for dark mode
  • A bug that was distorting special characters in the Aha! integration has been fixed

  • The Community header on the "Welcome to Designer" page, which is visible as a splash screen in Designer Desktop, has been removed
  • URLs on the “Welcome to Designer” page now open in a new window
  • The Designer Core and Micro Credential exams have been updated with new questions
  • The Predictive Master Exam (English) has been added to the international certification pages
  • On the product Idea boards, the “Under Review” status associated with a Community user has been removed
  • Success Story cover images can now be featured on the Community homepage carousel
  • The “Share via Email” button was updated to be compatible with dark mode
  • The Gallery filter has been updated to be compatible with dark mode on mobile
  • The subject line in the private messenger is now compatible with dark mode
  • Social icons and the Favorite icon now meets WCAG standards
  • Form elements on the Community homepage now meet WCAG standards
  • Success stories can now easily be shared to LinkedIN, Twitter, and Facebook
  • An unnecessary dropdown menu has been removed from the Subscrib button on Success Stories

  • A new "Welcome to Designer" page that highlights the most useful Designer resources in Community. This page will only be visible in Designer Desktop.
  • The Designer Desktop certification path image has been added to the exam page
  • Starter Kits have been added to the Capability menu in the Community Gallery
  • Profile images now have alt text, making the Community more accessible
  • Hyperlinked text is now sent to Aha! on the product idea boards via the integration

  • A direct integration between the Alteryx Product Idea boards and the Alteryx Product team has been implemented
  • Polls have an additional border to optimize visibility
  • The polls vote count in dark mode has been corrected to be more visible
  • Polls will now be visible on the topic page within discussion posts
  • User Groups have been updated with an additional counter for better visibility on attendee counts
  • A new list functionality has been implemented for User Group Leaders to better check in attendees
  • An error with interactive lessons failing for users with special characters in their email has been corrected

  • A new version of the Designer Advanced exam was launched
  • On the advanced search page, the filter has been optimized for dark mode while on mobile

  • The Alteryx IO resource page has been updated to include featured articles and a filter to improve the search experience
  • On the Alteryx IO page, the padding on the ‘Sign in’ of the main navigation was updated
