In-Database Tool - Pass through individual credentials from workflow to Alteryx Server

Can we make the ability for a developer using Alteryx Designer and having a workflow using in-DB tools to pass along their credentials with the workflow when scheduling to run on Alteryx Server.  An individual user may have access to only certain tables in Teradata for example and the ODBC connection on Server may not have access to the same tables so we need to be able to pass along the encrypted credentials.  THanks!

There is a setting in the server configuration to allow a tool to run with the credentials that is was saved with.  I hope this helps. https://help.alteryx.com/server/current/admin/Administration/WorkflowCredentials.htm

I do not believe the suggested answer would apply to the question. Users should be able to enter their personal credentials upon running the workflow, and those credentials expected to be used in the database connection, not to run a workflow on the server. 

Users should NOT be providing their personal credentials and asking the curator to add them on the server.
