Add an editable descriptions on workflow page on Alteryx Server

I would like the ability to add a workflow description on Alteryx server.  This step would be done after the workflow is published, this way future edits can be made without having to republish the workflow.  A checkbox to allow HTML content would also be appreciated.

Yes - would love to see this functionality. We sometimes have multiple versions of a workflow published to a collection and it's very difficult to understand the differences

Hi,

This functionality already available in gallery while you publishing workflow. Please look at below link

The status of this idea has been changed to 'Inactive'. This status indicates that:

1. The idea has not had activity in the form of likes or comments in over a year.

2. The idea has not reached ten likes.

3. The idea is still in the 'New Idea' status.

However, this doesn't mean your idea won't be implemented! The Community can still like and comment on this idea. With enough renewed interest, this idea can be brought back into the 'New Idea' status.

Thank you for contributing to the Alteryx Community and the Alteryx Product Idea Boards!

I think this is a good idea as would like the ability to edit the description through the web gallery rather than having to republish from designer with new content.

II think this suggestion needs reactivated. Yes you can add comments when you publish a workflow, but if those need updated for some reason you have to republish (which seems silly just to update the workflow server comments without any other changes).  Also, being able to update comments from the gallery server gets around the issue where the default comment when replacing a workflow is "Package replaced" with no option to change, adjust, or add details.
