Remove Re:Alteryx Challenges from Latest Topics

With the growing popularity of Alteryx challenges, the new topics gets lots of "noise" as challenge posts are made.  Could we either filter these messages to their own tab (for those interested in the real-time updates of challenge solution posts) or just remove them from notifications?  When you're logged-in to the community, you get lots of these messages.

Thanks for reporting this issue Mark! We had addressed this when we did the big restructure (v5.0), but it looks like the "Latest Topics" feed is back to including all posts instead of just topics.

For context...

Topics = new topics/threads

Replies = replies to Topics

Posts = Topics + Replies

Our platform team is on the case. We'll update the status when we have more info!

In the meantime -- here's a cool URL trick... replace "/post-type/message" with "/post-type/thread" in the URL, and you'll only see topics.

Hi @LeahK  - sorry to use this but I don't think anyone is looking at "Fixed" items in the community space.

I think this has resurfaced with the latest version of Community - I see challenges 190 and 184 in the "What's happening" space on the home page right now (within the first 20 topics), and 184 is definitely over a month old.

Any chance someone can take another look?
