Need In DB support for Athena

Our company has a need to link a new data source in Athena.  We have been able to establish a connection using the input functionality however the connection is so slow it is unusable.  We need to have Alteryx build an In Database option for Athena to allow us to link our data lake to Alteryx.

Same here, it is not a big organisation but we are having so many issues with odbc connections to Athena, the input tool and in-DB tool. A special Athena connector would help a lot.

Hello @brianhouwman . If you're an in database user, please have a look at the other ideas https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Desktop-Ideas/idb-p/product-ideas/label-name/categ... We need some changes on this part and maybe we can motivate Alteryx with more user traction. ;)
