JOIN Configuration

It would be great if we can determine the type of join operation between the fields we choose to join. For example, if we join 2 fields a and b below, we should be able to determine the join operation whether it's an 'AND' or 'OR' operation.

It would be great to see more options in the join configuration such as > or < as it would bring better clarify compared to other tools.

One thing I do like is the simplicity you get with Alteryx and then if you want something more complex you can add it in, for example the join options being left, inner, right and being able to use a union if you want to replicate a left inner join.

However it can also be a frustration when wanting to join on a range and needing to use a generate rows. Hopefully as Designer Cloud powered by Trifacta gets developed we’ll see feature enhancements transition across both ways between the individual tools.
