It would be very helpful if Alteryx allowed us to manually configure the IP and port number of a web proxy in instances when we are accessing online services.

Agreed, this is pretty standard functionality with GIS softwares that pull cloud-based basemaps and imagery. I've been running Alteryx for 2.5 years and have never seen the imagery, which reduces the value of the product.

Agreed - I just setup a tunnel and then found out I cannot set proxy in download tool without complicated binding.

Agreed! Many large organizations are utilizing proxy scripts and hence are unable to utilize the connector tools without manually configuring their proxy settings.

Fully agreed! The setting can be added under the Connection tab (along with username, password etc.)

Hi team,

Can we reactivate this idea? Now we have 11 likes ... and this is really really a must-have features for corporate users where their proxy setting cannot be automatically inherited by Alteryx itself.
