Here are time wasters that I hope to see addressed by Alteryx. Thank you.

1. The Union tool 

When switching to Manual method and then adding fields up stream, the result is a warning "Field was not found". I don't look for warnings. This should create a red error. Having fields fall off the workflow is a pain.

2. Unique tool

Changing fields upstream causes the tool to error out when the workflow runs. No issues are shown before the run. 

3. Having containers all open up when I reopen a workflow is a nightmare when you have 20+ containers all over lapping.

Hi @TZChandler,

1) You can cause the Union tool to produce Errors instead of Warnings by changing the "When Fields Differ" property to "Error - Stop Processing Records"

2) I agree that the way the Unique tool handles changing fields can be improved. Feel free to add your thoughts to this idea post here.

3) I was unable to replicate this tool container issue in version 11.0.6.28907. I placed and closed 3 tool containers on the canvas, and then saved and reopened the workflow to find all 3 containers still closed.

The status of this idea has been changed to 'Inactive'. This status indicates that:

1. The idea has not had activity in the form of likes or comments in over a year.

2. The idea has not reached ten likes.

3. The idea is still in the 'New Idea' status. 

However, this doesn't mean your idea won't be implemented! The Community can still like and comment on this idea. With enough renewed interest, this idea can be brought back into the 'New Idea' status.
