Add a keyboard shortcut for global search

With the new keyboard shortcuts in 2021.1, I would love to see this same functionality added to the global search. I would like for

1) The global search bar to be accessible via a keyboard shortcut

2) You can navigate through the results with the arrow keys and

3) I can click enter on a tool and it will add it to the canvas just like the tool palette now functions in 21.1.

Absolutely agree @patrick_digan - the search bar above the tools is where I get all of my tools (very seldom navigate the tabbed toolbox)

Ctrl-shift-f gets you to the global search bar which is great, but from there you can't navigate and insert tools with the keyboard.

The optimal experience would be:

- Ctrl-shift-F

- one or two clicks

- Enter

then the tool is inserted at the latest edit point on your canvas.

This would be a game changer! Adding tools to the canvas without your hands ever leaving the keyboard! ⌨️

Actually, small update... the shortcut for Global Search already exists (Ctrl + Shift + F... you can see our list of current shortcuts here! https://help.alteryx.com/current/en/designer/get-started/shortcuts-in-alteryx-designer.html )
BUT we are making additional improvements for keyboard navigation in the Global Search window, coming soon... will update here when implemented! :)
