Create Community Friend Groups

It would be really great if we could organize our Community friends into groups (ex. local users, personal friends, coworkers) and be able to send private messages to the group instead of one for each individual.

Thanks for the great suggestion @JoshKushner and apologies for the delay in providing an update.

 

While technically this functionality is dependent on the technology that powers our community, I will be upfront and tell you that granting users the ability to create their own groups isn't included on our near term road-map. This doesn't mean it won't ever be, I just want to make sure to set expectations that we don't currently have plans in place.

If we could have an additional Community user category "Colleagues" similar to "Friends", that would help connect with folks within one's firm. Also, would be great to subscribe to all feeds from the group rather than follow people individually.
