Pause Syntax Checking - pro mode

Development can get super slow for larger workflows with the automatic syntax checking.  Would be nice to flip to "Pro Mode" that pauses the syntax checking until either un-paused or a run is kicked off to save on the wait time between tools during development and more particularly going back to make numerous changes.

Agree. For large workflows, it can take 1-2 minutes for every action!

Under user settings on the Advanced tab, there is an option to Disable Auto Configure.  Would this provide what you are looking for?  It does not refresh metadata between tools after configuration changes, so avoids some of the delay you see when going from tool to tool.  In this mode, hitting F5 does a full refresh of the metadata to make sure everything is configured correctly.
