Tool Join - Manual Configure Fields

Hi,

 

It would be very useful if I could delete/remove fields while using the tool Join - manual configure fields directly instead of adding a "Select" tool next.

Hi @Lucasvital (and @KylieF )

 

The join tool does allow you to deselect fields, and change types - so it gives the same functionality as the select tool.   It may be worth updating the status on this one to reflect that this is current functionality in Alteryx?

As Sean mentioned, the Join and Union tools both currently have select tools built into their configuration windows so users can select, deselect, reorder and rename fields within the Join. As such I'm updating this idea to implemented.
