Hi all,   Effective with the Q4 2018 data releases, the base URL referenced in the .map files that render DigitalGlobe Satellite imagery is changing from dgmaps.alteryx.com to whitelist.alteryx.com/v1/dgmaps/v1. This change was made to align with our System Requirements. As we already recommend that customers have whitelist.alteryx.com listed as a safe site, we don't expect this to impact our customers.   Customers can still use the Q3 2018 DigitalGlobe data if they run into network issues. Any network-related issues should ultimately be resolved by whitelisting whitelist.alteryx.com.   Regards,   Jerad Rades Team Lead, Data Products

This post pertains to any user that downloaded the US Spatial (Q4 2018) package from the Downloads & Licenses portal between the initial release on Wednesday, February 20th, and ~1:30pm EST on Friday, March 1st. You'll know that you have the outdated download package if you do not see 'TomTom US Q4 2018' on the 'Install' screen under the 'Drivetime Datasets' section.   The initial package did not contain the TomTom US Q4 2018 Drivetime data (Guzzler). Should users require the Q4 2018 US Drivetime data, they'll need to download the updated package and rerun the install. Fortunately only a portion of the install needs to be executed unless a Network Install was used. After downloading and extracting the updated package, you can upgrade the TomTom US Q4 2018 Drivetime data with the following steps (for local installation).   Run AlteryxDataInstall.exe and select 'None', then only select the Drivetime dataset. Uninstall TomTom US Q3 2018 if desired. Finish the installation as usual and be sure to restart Designer to refresh the list of available data sets. For customers that utilize the Network Installation process, the simplest approach would be to prepare a full network install in a new location, then ask users to uninstall the entire data package and re-register from the new location (as the registration process is quick to execute).   We apologize for the inconvenience. Mosaic BG Dominant and Mosaic BG Household Distribution counts are balanced to Experian’s census estimates.  ConsumerView is a marketing file and therefore doesn’t need to be balanced to the census estimates.

Greetings Alteryxians!   The Q1 2019 Business and Location Insights data packages were released today. The packages include analytics-ready data from a variety of vendors as well as data-specific analysis tools to get the most from the packaged data. All data packages are available via the Downloads & Licenses portal; US & Canada Business Insights customers should receive their hard drives later this week, but you are also welcome to download the data from the portal.   Here are a couple important notes specific to this release. Please see the product specific documentation for more details. US & Canada: Install now only includes country specific CASS dataset (i.e., US Business Insights will only install US CASS by default) Canada: Forward Sortation Area data was not updated due to vendor source issue. The vendor confirmed there was no change from Q4 to Q1.   All documentation packages are included in the attached .7z archive. As a side note, our team is working on content to help customers get started with their Insights packages. If you haven't already, be sure to take a look at some of the recent articles in the Location Data Knowledge Base regarding things like installation, mapping, and many more to come! US & Canada Business Insights customers should receive their hard drives later this week, but you are also welcome to download the data from the portal.   Here are a couple important notes for this release. Product name change (does not affect product contents): US and Canada "Data", which includes demographics, business lists, etc., are now called "Business Insights" All "Spatial" packages are now called "Location Insights" DigitalGlobe Satellite Maps base URL changed to whitelist.alteryx.com/v1/dgmaps/v1.
