Hi,
I am new to Alteryx Gallery Space, When I am trying to save the workflow in Alteryc=x Gallery and run it, its showing me the files and the extension in which it needs to be saved and is giving me the download option,
Instead I want it to be saved in the path which I have given for the Output directly.
But I am not sure how to do that.
This is the download option which I am getting.
@Tid14 first thing to note is that you'll need your Output location to be a shared/network drive that the machine running your server has access to. For example, you won't be able to save a scheduled output locally as your server won't have access to the directories.
Second point to check is your workflow assets. When you go to save to gallery:
Click on Manage workflow assets:
Make sure the Output you're interested in is unticked:
This way, the output won't be packaged into the externals folder as an asset and you shouldn't be prompted with the option to download it. Make sure that the filepath is spot on to where you're wanting to save this - in workflow dependencies (Options > Advanced Options) you can also set these to use UNC filepaths: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Knowledge-Base/File-Paths-and-Alteryx/ta-p/847200
