Given you are starting out with your Alteryx experience, make sure to check out the learning materials available within the Academy section of the Community. Once you familiarize yourself with the basic tool icons, I suggest participating in the Weekly Challenges (again under the Academy). In my experience, the sooner folks start attempting the weekly challenges, the steeper has been their learning trajectory.
