Knime Vs Ateryx

Question

Hi,

Recently I came across Knime which is a free ETL tool unlike Alteryx. Can anyone provide me insight as to how worthy it is to learn Knime ? if it exactly like Alteryx or better or lesser in quality? Career wise growth and any other advantage or disadvantage.

Like @IraWatt I've looked at it but haven't used it a ton. The UI seems a bit clunkier and harder to navigate.

I've had a little look at Knime but I am no expert, It will be great to hear from people who have used both properly. I would point out at enterprise level Knime is by no means free, 52,000 USD for their equivalent of server. And I assume they also charge if you want any tech support like Alteryx provides.

From my knowledge Knime does not have any equivalent to Alteryx ML, Auto Insights or Alteryx Promote.

besides that I'm not sure. It would be interesting to compare the number of tools and tool groups each has. Sadly most articles on comparing software are generally wrote by people who hardly know ether piece of software.
