My name is Branson Farley, I'm a student at UW-Milwaukee graduating this coming May with a BBA in IT-Management. I am currently an intern on the Data Analytics team in Compliance and have been using Alteryx over the past year since my internship began. I have had a great time familiarizing myself with Alteryx as a tool and it has really helped me bolster my conceptual knowledge of all sorts of data manipulation tactics! Currently, I have my advanced certification and hope to one day achieve an expert certification along with becoming an Alteryx Ace.

Always happy to chat about Data or offer any assistance with any Alteryx related problems. My Linkedin is linked in my profile if you care to reach me!

Learning Alteryx has been an exciting experience! As someone diving deeper into data analytics, I'm really enjoying how Alteryx simplifies complex workflows. Another significant part of this learning experience is how I can interact with the training videos. Being able to pause, rewind, and follow along at my own pace helps in understanding the concepts. The step-by-step guidance makes it easier to apply what I'm learning in real-time, which reinforces my skills.

Hello!

My name is Kenia; I am a student at CSUF. I am working on getting my bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. This semester, I am taking a course to learn about programs that will be useful in this career. It is my first time using Alteryx, and I find the interactive lessons very helpful. However, it would be more helpful if I could practice more using prompts or scenarios for Alteryx. Does anyone know how I can get scenarios to practice using Alteryx to become more comfortable using it?

Thanks so much!

Hello,

My name is Jasmin and I am a student at California State University, Fullerton. Last Wednesday was my first time using Alteryx, and it was very intimidating at first since this was my first time exposed to the software. However, following my professor's instructions made me feel a bit comfortable. However, I believe I need to constantly do exercises so that I can feel comfortable using it at my own. Any tips or advice on how to use it will be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone,

My name is Joaquin and I'm an Accounting student at CSU Fullerton. This semester, I enrolled in an Emerging Technologies in Accounting class to prepare myself for a career post-grad. We've recently began our introduction into Alteryx and so far I'm enjoying it! I see how practical it is and how it can be used day-to-day for any career that deals with lots of data. Still getting used to it and learning new things, so any tips or advice on getting started will be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! I am currently new to learning about Alteryx. I'm enjoying how user-friendly it is! Any recommendations on what certain areas of this platform to learn about first to gain better knowledge and experience?

Hi @kenia_marin26,

Thanks for joining our community! You can learn through our awesome weekly challenges. Below is the link for it:

It has plenty of scenarios based on your skill level. You can scroll down and choose from Basic, Intermediate, and Difficult levels. I have tried the ones under the Beginner level, and they are all so interesting. Check it out when you can!

Best of luck with your bachelor's degree. Reach out to us if you need anything else.

Take care.
