Dataset different in SQL and alteryx

I ran a query through alteryx and ran the same query in SQL directly. I find the data set slightly different. Does anyone know why this could happen. Also the query fetched about 2319800 rows. Is there

Hi - we need some additional data here - are you running in dynamic input/input tool/or connect-in-db? What's your DB that you are running? Are you 100% sure the data is different - ie what are you comparing the data to (worksheet result in the DB/DB Visualizer/etc?).

 

I'm not 100% saying you are mistaken but I have not seen a situation where running a SQL query in Connect-In-DB produces a different result vs running the same SQL against the database through a different tool.
