New Platform SDK (2021.2)

Hi everyone,

the latest announcement of Alteryx 2021.2 mentions a new Platform SDK (https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Analytics/Build-Breakthroughs-with-Designer/ba-p/754663).

I couldn't find any further information on that: The Developer Help seems to be unchanged (https://help.alteryx.com/current/developer-help/python-engine-sdk) and the Release Notes for Designer does not mention a new SDK version.

Where can we find more information on the new SDK? And is there any info what will happen to the existing SDK in future Alteryx versions?

The new platform SDK has docs here: https://help.alteryx.com/current/developer-help/platform-sdk

I haven't had much time to play with it yet though so can't comment on how easy is to build with it yet

Google search last night found it - as couldn't find anything any other way! Had seen messages during the Beta about it but hadn't had a chance to nosey.

Don't think any of the included addins have examples yet nor is it obvious how to navigate to the docs within the help system.

Hopefully will improve as time goes on!
