Alteryx automatically writes the errors to a log file stored as plain text. You could build a workflow to parse the error logs into an excel file! I'd start by creating a workflow event (instructions here) to send you an email or run a cmd file when the workflow errors. This is the easiest way to grab the log file automatically.
