Program Overview
What is the Scholarship Program?
The Alteryx SparkED Scholarship Program provides financial assistance, career experiences, and meaningful engagements to learners who show interest in data analytics and who are from a diverse range of backgrounds, educational environments, and fields of study.
Eligibility
Who is eligible to apply?
The SparkED Scholarship Application is currently open to students attending U.S. based academic institutions or coursework through a registered nonprofit organization. If selected, scholarship funds will be distributed to the foundation branch of your academic institution or the nonprofit associated with your coursework/program. Other eligibility requirements include:
- 18+ Years of Age
- Intermediate proficiency in the English language
- Interest in data analytics and familiarity with Alteryx Products
- Preference to students and learners who have obtained the Alteryx Designer Core Certification
Spring Application Cycle
When will the application be open for submissions?
The Scholarship Application will be live April 15 - May 15, 2023 through an open application: Access the application here.
Acknowledgment of your submission will be sent via email, and updates on your submission status will be sent via email on a rolling basis after the submission deadline of May 15 at 11:59 pm PT.
Award Recipient Selection
How is the Scholarship Application scored?
Each submission will be reviewed by Alteryx Program Managers and the SparkED Review Council comprised of Alteryx associates who have a foundation and well-established in the fields of academia, philanthropy and/or data analytics. The Review Board will assign points based on the following criteria:
- Alignment with the Alteryx SparkED Scholarship Program Mission
- Completeness and accuracy of your submission
- Planned career path and goals
- Activities taken to work towards the Alteryx Designer Core
Certification - Video Statement inclusion and financial impact description
Award Amount & Distribution
What is the scholarship value and when will it be disbursed?
For the Spring 2023 Scholarship Application Cycle, awards of $2,000 USD will be awarded to five (5) eligible students who attend a U.S. based academic institution. Recipients will be notified of selection status (approve or deny) by June 30, 2023 11:59 pm PT. Scholarship fund distribution is intended for the Fall of the 2023 academic school year.
