It is also changing the culture of Amaysim. With this technology stack, analytics is much more accessible to the business analyst. Analysts can get new data sets into Redshift, blend them with other data sets using Alteryx, and visualize the results in Tableau very quickly.
When asked about the ultimate benefit of Alteryx, Julian does not hesitate. "The biggest benefit of Alteryx for amaysim is that we get insights quicker, which means we can implement changes swiftly and be more competitive. The role of IT internally has now changed to become somewhat that of operational partner, expanding from the traditional domain of an in-house tech shop."
