Amasyim and Alteryx WebcastAmasyim, a low-cost mobile phone service provider in Australia, is making their data analysts self-sufficient to access the data they need and perform advanced analytics. On April 14th, Amaysim's IT Director Julian Dell and BI Manager Adrian Loong will present in a webinar entitled "Making Data Analysts Self-Sufficient: A Case Study," as they talk about the architecture they have chosen for their analytics program, and the results they have been able to achieve:

Deeper Insights: Uncovered previously unrecognized patterns and areas of business improvement after blending hundreds of disparate data sources with Alteryx and visualizing the results using Tableau.

Hours vs. Weeks: Reduced time-to-insight from three weeks to mere hours, helping Amaysim to grow its competitive advantage versus larger wholesalers.

Intuitive Workflow: Enabled business unit employees and managers to become self-sufficient in performing and iterating advanced analytics.

Amaysim chose an architecture that consists of Amazon Redshift, Alteryx and Tableau. This represents a new analytics stack that meets their needs for agility, low cost, and deep insights. It is also changing the culture of Amaysim. With this technology stack, analytics is much more accessible to the business analyst. Analysts can get new data sets into Redshift, blend them with other data sets using Alteryx, and visualize the results in Tableau very quickly.

Amasyim and Alteryx Webcast SpeakersWhen asked about the ultimate benefit of Alteryx, Julian does not hesitate. "The biggest benefit of Alteryx for amaysim is that we get insights quicker, which means we can implement changes swiftly and be more competitive. The role of IT internally has now changed to become somewhat that of operational partner, expanding from the traditional domain of an in-house tech shop."

Julian and Adrian will also speak to executive engagement and cultural impact of analytics at Amaysim.
