Hi guys,
we have recently downloaded the ODBC Snowflake from the below url
https://docs.snowflake.com/developer-guide/odbc/odbc-download
We are then using the standard Input tool and using a DSN-less connection with the gallery (which is very portable as we are a team of circa 20 members so does not require any configuration on the client machine).
I would like to know if is this one the Simba one?
Reason I am asking is that although it is quick in the client machine, I would have expected be quicker in the server but instead has the same performance. We also use a Simba ODBC for Oracle and there we can guarantee the performance are amazing when workflow run in the gallery
Do you know why might be this?
Many thanks for your help as always
Luca

Hi @lzanotti ,
No, it isn`t. You can download the Simba driver from the Alteryx licensing portal. licenses.alteryx.com
Here are some tips to improve Snowflake performance: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Tool-Mastery/How-to-Improve-Snowflake-Speed/ta-p/1038251
One reason for the difference between performances could be the network, meaning your Oracle could be in the same network as your Alteryx server without needing to access a VPN and Snowflake being on the cloud.
