Hi Alteryx Experts!
I am attempting to set up a new Gallery Connection for users to connect to Snowflake DB via Alteryx. I have installed the driver on the server and tested a connection from the Server's Designer and connection works. I added the connection string to the gallery: odbc:Driver={SnowflakeDSIIDriver};Server=XXXXXXXXXX.us-east-1.snowflakecomputing.com;UID=XXXXXXXXX;PWD=XXXXXXX
When I try to use the Gallery connection on the server designer I get a user name password error (expected as I don't have correct password in the gallery connection string)
When I try to use the Gallery connection on my local machine I get the error: CURLerror {curl_easy_perform() failed) - code=60 msg='SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK' osCode=9 osMsg='Bad file descriptor'.
Please note: Server has SSL certificate installed
So - why am I seeing new error when users try to get the connection string? How can I resolve this?
And - how can I store the connection string on the Gallery without compromising the user's password? I know there is an option when you save up to gallery to select "User must specify their own credentials" will this work? How can we test the Gallery Connection if this is selected?
Thanks for your help! It has been a long time since I set up an OBDC on the Gallery and previously it was always a trusted connection!
