As per the title. I’m not sure what’s going on exactly.
For example, Designer shows a value of 193.34, but Server shows 195.44 for some reason - this affects certain rows of data only. Not sure why.
My Designer Desktop version is still at 2021, the Server is at 2022.
Could it be an impact of decimal places with error carried forward (ECF)? Or the server version differences causes it?
Anyone been through anything similar with advice?

Hi @caltang
Sorry to hear you're having issues with Server.
Just so I can troubleshoot on my side, can you recreate a shareable workflow that experiences the issue you are discussing?
Kind Regards,
Owen

Hi @TheOC ! Hope you’re well man. Unfortunately, I cannot share that because it contains sales data.
I’m trying to troubleshoot… sometimes the output from server is blank too. I’m just puzzled.
What can I do to troubleshoot on my own? Go into the Server itself and tinker the Designer there? Could it be AMP? Could version differences cause such differences?

Hey @caltang ,
I remember seeing a similar problem on version 23.1 where numbers close to 0 became huge. But I do think this is an isolate issue that will be fixed sooner rather than later.
One thing to look at is the floating-point error. If you have double data types and know the number of decimal places, try rounding them specially if they are being used in filter tools.

Thanks for mentioning this! I tried a little experiment with turning AMP on/off, and I get different results still.
Any other way to troubleshoot better? Aiming in the dark here...

I would go row by row and tool by tool to check where exactly this is happening. It could be something we are not aware of the version mismatch.
