I just upgraded to 2024 and now my Sharepoint Input tool is giving me the error "Invalid location entered" when attempting to save the Sharepoint files [anywhere]. Originally I was saving to a network drive and it worked great.. now I can't get it to save anywhere. It's funny because the error tells me the location is invalid and is going to save to the default location (which it does). So, knowing that location works, I even tried to write to that location and it tells me that location is invalid as well.
Any thoughts?

Can you @philwestover confirm you've updated the tool as well as the Designer version? If not, can you also confirm the specific version of Alteryx you are using? 2024.1 or 2024.2?
With the upgrade to 24.1 there was a python upgrade to 3.10. This required a new version of all python based tools including SharePoint. Please ensure that both the Designer and the Server have this new version of the tool installed. The latest and greatest 2.7.0 connector was just released last week on the Marketplace (found in the Toolbox on Community, you can search "Sharepoint"): https://marketplace.alteryx.com/en-US/apps/417982/sharepoint-tools .
Thanks!
Aside from having the SharePoint Tool that is compatible with the version of designer you are running, you probably do not have access to the local folder for security reason within your organization. Create a desktop folder and try there and test if it works. If it does then you are likely blocked from accessing local or editing rights.
Thanks for the response. I currently have Alteryx 2024.1 and I just tried upgrading my connector to 2.7.0. That worked! Thanks.
Don't forget to hit the thumbs up.
I am getting the same issue with this tool. I've tried routing to a local folder (C:\Users\username\Desktop\test), re-downloaded 2.7.0 for the SharePoint tools and have Alteryx running on Version: 2024.2.1.14. The fallback save to temp works.
@mrLeyshock were you able to do this successfully in the past? or is this the first attempt at this specific function? Either way, it make make sense to open a Support case in my.alteryx.com and let them know you are on the latest version and what you've tried.
