Hi,
I am currently working on a build that creates a table, formats the layout, and sends a personalized email. The company I work for does not want them to be sent automatically due to issues with risk, so I was wondering if it was possible to send it to the drafts folder.
I have created a sample flow in Alteryx that simulates my process.
Please let me know if there is anyway to have the email sent to the draft folder with the recipient information.
Thanks!
I don't think this is possible, as it is currently listed in the Ideas portal - https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Ideas/Enhance-Email-tool-to-Allow-for-Creating-Dra...
With that said, within this thread - https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Alteryx-Designer-Discussions/Saving-Draft-Email-in-Outlook-draft-ma...- there is a suggestion that you could send the emails to yourself (or any specific inbox that is internal and "safe"). Then, put a rule on that mailbox to move them to drafts. You could key off the subject and sender. ... technically that thread suggests something a little different. In my mind, adding an Outlook rule is easier.
