Latest price based on change history

Hi smart people of Alteryx Community,

I have a table containing all price changes for all products since dawn of time. The output of this table should be the latest price for each individual date the last 30 days. The problem I'm facing is that not all products has a change the last 30 days, so it has to look further back to the latest change to fetch the latest price.

The final output should have the latest price last 30 days, for each day the last 30 days.

Example:

16.05.24 - Latest price l30d was 400 for product 1

15.05.24 - Latest price l30d was 395 for product 1

.....

Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Thanks!

@Trailduck try using the summaries tool, group by product and max time stamp value. The n join/find and replace the price value and that should get what you're looking for?
