Connect to a excel file available in Microsoft Teams

Is there a way to connect to Excel files in Microsoft Teams.

You can sync teams folders to show up in your file explorer by clicking "sync" in teams file section.

Alternatively the teams files are just sharepoint files ultimately so the sharepoint tools should work.

Thank You for the response. Could please share the procedure to sync the files to the folders.(Any supporting materials).

The Sharepoint files tool is not working in the latest version of Sharepoint. Can you please share a sample configuration.
