I am having trouble setting up a Basic Filter where I would like to filter out 3 numbers from a field. I would only like to look at records that have those three numbers in a field.
The Basic Filter works fine when I enter one value but I get an error when I enter more than one.
I suspect that this would require a Custom Filter however, I am not sure how to set up the conditional expression.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Kane,
What would be the formula if I want to filter out the rows that "contain" different letters or symbols?
For example, I want to filter out all those fields that have the letter "F", the "-" and the "_"....
Thanks!
Hi Benjamin, your join tool idea is pretty flexible! This way, people can easily update the source file if there are any additional filters.
Would this work if the text I want to filter is only the first two letters?
An example is:
Filter criteria: those beginning with DM and PO.
Data to be filtered:
DMUHG
BETSY
HIGHK
POLOP
Thank you!
Thanks!!!! It works!
