Welcome to the August 2022 edition of the Community Highlights and Release blog! I’m very excited to announce that I am taking over this blog from Will going forward. This time of year is a great time to refine your focus on honing skills, sharing knowledge, and maybe eating some moon cakes along the way.

Need to Know
We’re pleased to announce the launch of the new Favorite Posts system. Now users can highlight their favorite content across the Community to share with other users through the profile page! Posts can be favorited and unfavorited using the button to the upper right of most posts, blogs, ideas, articles, and gallery tools and workflows. Once favorited, they’ll be added to your Favorite Posts carousel on your profile page. Check out other users' favorites by looking through their carousel and all-time favorite content on the Favorites Page, accessible via the last tile on the carousel once a user has more than 12 favorites.
This is the first of many profile page enhancements we are working through, and we’re hoping to launch the rest in the near future. In the meantime, be sure to let us know what you think and if you have any update requests in the Community Ideas!

Inspire EMEA is coming down the pipeline and SOON! One of the highlights of Inspire is always the Grand Prix, and it’s bound to continue that record in Amsterdam. Registrations are open for the Qualifiers until September 19th – if you are interested in participating, check out this blog for more details. The Grand Prix is a great way to challenge your skills in Designer - so lights out, and away we go!
We’ve also got our Alter.Next Virtual Summit happening on September 8th, and there’s bound to be some great information for everyone! Whether you’re a new user or a seasoned vet, the event has something for you – and the best part is it’s FREE! One of the speakers is none other than Stephen J Dubner, author of Freakonomics – it's something you won’t want to miss! Register here to secure your spot.
One big piece of community news that you may have noticed is that we added a new status to our Product Ideas pages. If your idea has been in the “New” category for more than two weeks, it will automatically update to “Accepting Votes.” This way, you won’t have to worry about what’s going on – we're working on refining how we work with product ideas internally, and this is one of the first steps to make sure things are consistently taken care of and not stuck in no-man's land.

Alteryx Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager @CMcClellan_DEI, ACE @Treyson, former ACE turned Alteryx Principal Evangelist @JoshuaB, and Alteryx Distinguished Software Engineer @SteveA discuss what it means to be neurodivergent, the importance of breaking stigma, and how you can create a safe space at work that’s accepting of everyone.

If you find it useful, you may see similar guides pop up in the future for popular topics that have resources spread throughout the community.
