An Opportunity for Young Women in STEM: British Science Week | FAME 4 STEM Conference

With International Women’s Day right around the corner, Alteryx is excited to team up with British Science Week to support the FAME 4 STEM Conference, supporting young women from ethnic minority backgrounds who are interested in pursuing a career in STEM. This free, virtual event is intended to help build the foundations of discourse around gender and ethnic disparity in STEM and give a platform to relatable and representative role models to increase confidence in young women. The line-up for the four-day event includes an opening keynote session from Alteryx Co-founder and Chief Advocacy Officer, Libby Duane Adams, and features an enablement dawith hands-on learning and free, donated Alteryx for Good software licenses. The full agenda is below:  

  • March 5, 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. GMT: Opening/welcome event with keynote speaker, Libby Duane Adams 
  • March 84:30-6:45 p.m.: Women in STEM Education Seminar, Imposter Syndrome Seminar & Panel and CV/LinkedIn Workshop 
  • March 9, 4:30-6:30 p.m.: Alteryx enablement day; includes hands-on opportunities with Alteryx for Good software licenses  
  • March 104:30-6:30 p.m.: ‘Mentor sessions’ with interactive breakout rooms and closing keynote speeches
