Come join us for the first user group meeting of the year, hosted by our community members at The Brookson Group
Agenda
6pm - Doors will open for our in person guests at 6pm, giving everyone time to have a quick natter and grab a drink before the call start.
6:15pm - The online meet will be opened and the meeting will be opened by our leaders Izzy (@Carlithian) Charlotte (@CharlotteHalliday) , Nicola (@PuffinPanic ) and Mark (@Spainey)
6:20pm - Alteryx Best Practices
Whether you are an Alteryx expert or a newbie, going over your best practices for building workflows is fundamental. We will have our new leader Mark taking us through a crash course in best practices and showing a bunch of tips and tricks as an added bonus
- @Spainey from PwC
7pm - A quick break for refreshments, a little birdy tells me we will have pizza...well those in person at least.
7:15pm - Secure Connectivity with Alteryx Data Connection Manager (DCM)
Connor will be showing us real-world use cases of DCM and the advantages it has provided the team at Brookson Group
- @Connor_Baines from Brookson Group
7:30 - Unlocking Data-Driven Decisions with Alteryx Auto Insights
Jamie will be demonstrating the use of Alteryx Auto Insights, an AI-powered analytics tool that automates data exploration, identifies key trends and delivers actionable insights to empower smarter business decisions.
@jamesbarker
7:45 pm - In person networking
After the call stick around and catch up with the other members of the community (there's even a couple of pub's near by for anyone who fancies it
)
Travel by Car
For those driving in you will be able to park in on site at the Brookson Group Office
Travel by Train
There are two train stations in Warrington, and it is easy to get to the Brookson Group office from either station.
Warrington Bank Quay - (15 min walk)
Turning right out of the station, and right up Slutchers Lane at the lights will be the easiest route.
Warrington Central - (25 min walk)
Turning left out of the station and heading up through the centre of Warrington is the most direct route.

I had a great time, thanks to everyone for being so welcoming - and a big thanks to our hosts at The Brookson Group!
I presented some of what I believe to be best practices for development and some tips I hope will make you a better developer. But I may have missed some good ones, so please do share your own tips too 😊
