Dear community members,   Thank you for joining us at our Q1 meeting. We were truly excited to see the overwhelming participation of professionals across a multitude of industries. If you have missed the meetup, the post provides a snapshot of the events of the Alteryx India User Group Q1 meeting.   The event heralded with a welcome speech by @SubratDas5  who outlined the agenda for the day and introduced the Team AUG India and the special guests for the event.   The first agenda on the list was to update the community on Alteryx product and community enhancements.   Steps to sign up on the community; creation of women in Analytics group and availability of French, German and Japanese languages for localization. The New community search feature enables a user to create search bookmarks, search by language, new filters (type, category, place, label, author, and more!), Search by community, help doc, YouTube, etc. 225691 New Industry discussion forum breaks down the industry silos across the Community. This is a dedicated space in the community to share resources, connect with like-minded data workers in the same industry, discuss industry-specific analytics challenges + solutions, and much more. Data Science Portal and Machine Learning blogs - Data Science Portal is everything you love about the Alteryx Community, but tuned specifically for the data scientist, both current and aspiring. Here you’ll be able to find all the great data science content Alteryx has to offer across its Academy, blogs and podcasts, discussions, and more — all in one place. To learn more visit - alteryx.com/data-science. A new Python upgrade to 3.8 unlocks the latest features of the power tool to meet your programming needs. Alteryx for Good, a unique initiative by Alteryx, is designed to be a place where educators, students, and nonprofits can go to engage and interact. You will find a discussion forum, AFG resources, information on how to become an Alteryx For Good Ambassador, and a venue for anyone who is involved in data for good initiatives while using Alteryx to share their story. We encourage all user group members to engage and interact; you might even find a mentorship opportunity to help bring Alteryx to a cause you care about. Introduction to Adapt program – The program, designed for individuals affected by Covid (including recently unemployed, furloughed, and recent college graduates), provides free data science and analytics courses, Alteryx designer license, community access, and 1:1 virtual support from Alteryx associates. In the advent of the festival of love, our Q1 2021 meet arrived with a special surprise for the Alteryx enthusiasts, code-named Valentine’s special tools, and conducted by @apoorvashetty , the surprise included an exciting quiz themed around Alteryx tools.   Post our celebration, we welcomed our special guests to enlighten us on their use cases and the benefits they have achieved by using Alteryx.   Our first guest, Manohar (Data Analyst with Nu-Pie MCS Pvt Ltd and Capgemini consultant) presented a use case on order form automation for a large FMCG company. A brief snapshot can be found below.       Our next guest speaker, Kiran ( @atcodedog05  ) introduced us to SANTALYTICS and his project on Holiday Card Maker. An Alteryx flavored holiday card that could be sent to friends and surprise them in unique ways, is just another example of unlocking multiple possibilities with Alteryx. The holiday card takeaway for Kiran was that his holiday card submission won him runner-up place in Santalytics 2020 giving him bragging rights of winning and a great opportunity where a donation was made to a charity in his name.     The event concluded with an amazing round of QnA with questions across dimensions of the community, tool, and services offered by Alteryx.   If you wish to be a part of the amazing group of social innovators, join us to receive regular updates on our events.
