Hey KC! We’re excited to host an Analytics Day here at our office (NorthPoint Development) in North KC on Tuesday, March 18th. Here is the event page to register: https://hubs.li/Q038hBvj0. This will be a great opportunity for us to network with other Alteryx users, hear real-world success stories, and explore key analytics use cases. We expect a mix of IT, finance, and analytics professionals to attend. The event will include a customer panel sharing insights and best practices. Following the panel, we will speak on topics such as streamlining SAP data with Alteryx and the best use cases for Power BI for dashboards and Auto Insights for user friendly AI-driven reporting. We’ll round out the afternoon at Callsign Brewery for networking and happy hour. More information on agenda specifics can be found on the registration page I shared above. Hope to see you there! Keith

Hello Kansas City! I've been working with Environics Analytics (EA) for the last 3.5 years, and unfortunately, that has come to an end. I'm looking for new local or remote opportunities that will continue to use my Alteryx focused skillset (Designer/Server) and also force growth with new technology and leadership. My focus has been on collaborating with external stakeholders with designing, implementing, and supporting spatial analytics, data integration, and visualization projects that are delivered in the Altreyx Gallery. During my time at EA I started and co-lead an internal Alteryx user group, which met bi-monthly for about 2 years. It was enjoyable to watch my teammates get excited and begin to transfer their Alteryx skills from their primary role to enhance internal processes. I'm based in Kansas City, but open to relocation for a great opportunity. If you know of an opening or something that may be on the horizon (Full-time or Contract/Consultant), please let me know. There are some great companies here in Kansas City that use Alteryx for various purposes, I'd love to help out! Thanks! Justin

Hello KC User Group! I have a work trip to KC in November (4th-7th) and wondering if anyone in this user group would want to meet up after work during that time? I might have a few others traveling with me who might also be interested and we will all be staying near the airport.

Last year’s October Takeover was a great success, and we received many fantastic ideas.
Our four finalists were:
Ippei Nakagawa @gawa: Tokyo User Group; Challenge #391: Which Combinations of Pokémon Types Do Not Exist?
Charity Wilson @Charity_K_Wilson: Dallas-Ft. Worth, Texas User Group; Challenge 392: Calculate Climate Extremes
Mya Starling @myastarling: Milwaukee User Group; Challenge 393: Find the Best Yarn
Talia Sanders @tsand22: Indianapolis User Group; Challenge 394: Fantasy Football Team
The big winner was @gawa who received 72 responses within the first week of posting his challenge, and over time, it accumulated around 150 responses. Check out his fantastic challenge for some inspiration!
Please contact us at academy@alteryx.com if you have any questions.
We are excited to review the innovative and creative challenges you submit. Let's make this year's Weekly Challenge User Group October Takeover even more fun and successful than the last!
Happy creating!
