Seeking Help with QuickBooks Error PS058 After Manual Payroll Update

I'm encountering QuickBooks Error PS058 after attempting to manually update my payroll. I recently installed a new antivirus program and now I'm getting this error when trying to download the latest payroll updates. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

QuickBooks Error PS058 can occur after a manual payroll update. To resolve this issue:

  1. Verify Payroll Subscription: Ensure your payroll subscription is active and up to date.
  2. Reset Updates: Go to Employees > Get Payroll Updates > Reset Updates, then re-download the latest payroll updates.
  3. Check Internet Settings: Ensure your internet connection is stable and QuickBooks can access the server.
  4. Update QuickBooks: Ensure QuickBooks is updated to the latest version.
  5. Restart and Rebuild: Restart QuickBooks and run the Verify and Rebuild Data utility from the File menu to fix any data issues.
