Good Day Alteryx Charlotte UG Members!
We really appreciate and thank everyone who attended our Q3 Charlotte User Group meeting on September 21, 2021!
Additional thanks to our talented speaker, Mark Frisch Founder and CEO of Marquee Crew.
RECAP
Our guest speaker was Alteryx ACE, Mark Frisch (@MarqueeCrew)
Topic: “What was I thinking #?”
Mark shared how he still learns something new in Alteryx almost every day even though he’s been using the platform for many years. “What was I thinking #?” is meant to convey that over time, you can look back at your early workflows and realize that you would probably attack the challenge in a more efficient way if you had to build it again today.
He also delved into some of his CReW macros and showed how they can help be more efficient and flexible than standard tools. For example, the standard “Unique” tool will return one unique record for every row in a list, but the CReW_OnlyUnique macro will only return rows that are unique in the list.
