Occasionally when I try to pull a workflow down from the server via Alteryx designer, I get the error in screenshot #1. Then when I try to access my company's Alteryx server via web browser, I get an error message saying the page can't be reached. The solution to this problem that I have found is to reboot my machine (sometimes once is enough, sometimes I need to reboot it more than once before the issue will resolve). This started happening a few days ago - a team member of mine had this issue on Friday, 4/18; he would get these errors, but I didn't. Then on Monday, he was able to access the server, but I started getting these errors. Has something changed recently on the Alteryx side that would cause this? Any thoughts/ideas would be helpful, even if it is, "Nothing has changed."

Hi @cpet13 ,
Nothing has changed. Which version are you currently in?
I would say this could be related to your VPN, firewall or even your user.
Here are some things I would do:
- When that happens, try to access your server using the IP instead of the server name - If it works, that means it is a DNS server issue
- Access the server using incognito mode - maybe a cache issue?
- Message your IT team and check if they made any changes to the company firewall - more often than not, these intermittent issues are not your fault but theirs 😅
- Take a look at the server logs and events - see if you can find anything weird during that time
Best,
Fernando V.

@fmvizcaino Thank you for the reply. We are on version 2024.1.1.136. Our IT security team recently implemented a new security program - I'm pretty sure this issue is related to that, as we have had many issues like this with other vendors, but I want to get all the information/details I can so that when they say it is due to the vendor and not the program, I can give an adequate response.
Thank you for the suggested steps, I'll try those.
