Hello Everyone,
We are trying to perform SCIM Integration in an environment configured for SAML w/Okta. As part of this, I have enabled SCIM in the Alteryx Gallery > Admin > Settings based on Alteryx documentation. I saved the token and the Base URL.
We reached out to Alteryx Support and got some guidance on what to do on the Okta end, but we get an error when trying to test the connection. I appreciate any help in resolving this. We are on Alteryx Server 2024.2.
Also, I am interested in learning any other ways we can achieve user and group provisioning in environments configured for SAML w/Okta.
Here is what the support proposed to configure on Okta end:
- Under the Provisioning tab.
- Select Edit.
- In the SCIM connector base URL field, enter the Tenant URL value copied from your workspace.
- In the Unique identifier field for users field, enter “email”.
- In the Supported provisioning actions section, select the checkbox next to Push New Users.
- In the Supported provisioning actions section, select the checkbox next to Push Profile Updates.
- In the Supported provisioning actions section, select the checkbox next to Push Groups.
- In the Authentication Mode drop down, select “HTTP Header”
- In the Bearer Token field, enter the SCIM Token value you copied from your workspace.
- (Optional) Select Test Connection Configuration.
- Select Close.
- Select Save.
Attached is the error we received when testing the connection using the above configuration.
Thanks
