After you build the workflow on your desktop, save it.

Then, go to "Options" --> "Schedule Workflow".

If the Controller isn't listed, then you'll need to add it.

To add:

Open the RDP connection to your server.

Go to Options --> Advanced Options --> System Settings.

On the first page you either have to have "Complete Alteryx Server" enabled or "Custom" with "Controller" and "Worker" enabled (assuming they only set up one machine).

Click Next

Click Next again.

At the top of this page there will be a masked token.

Click View, then copy that into notepad on your local machine.

If you changed any settings, click through the "next" buttons until you "Finish". Otherwise, you can just click "Cancel".

Now, to add the controller to your local machine, the Machine name is the same name as the computer name in the RDP connection they gave you.

The token is what you just copied.

Paste those into the fields for adding a controller on your local machine.
