Attention User Groups: Join the Weekly Challenge October Takeover

Hi Maveryx,

 

We are thrilled to announce the second annual Weekly Challenge User Group Takeover. This is an excellent opportunity for user group members to showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills, and community spirit!

 

What is the User Group October Takeover Event?

 

User groups are invited to submit their ideas for Weekly Challenges. The top challenges will be published over 4 weeks from September 30 to October 21, 2024. The challenge that receives the most responses within the first 7 days after publication will be the winner! And yes, there will be prizes for the winner and the challenges selected for the event!

 

How to Participate

 

  1. Create and Submit Your Ideas by September 6: We are looking for Core and Advanced challenges that do not contain apps, macros, or spatial analyses. Each user group can submit multiple challenge ideas from their members to increase their chances of winning! (Please note that although multiple entries are allowed, each user group can only have one challenge published during the October Takeover event.)

  2. Follow the Submission Guidelines: Ensure your challenge is original, engaging, educational, and has practical applications. Use this guideline to Submit Your Idea for a Weekly Challenge.

  3. Submit a High-Resolution Headshot: Please include a recent high-resolution headshot with your challenge for promotional purposes.

 

Timeline

 

  • September 6: Deadline to submit Weekly Challenge ideas.

  • September 9 to 20: Maveryx Academy will select challenges and make any necessary revisions for publication.

  • September 30 - October 21: Weekly Challenges will be published every Monday.

  • November 1: Winner is announced.

 

Evaluation Criteria

 

Your challenges will be evaluated based on:

  • Engagement

  • Educational value

  • Appropriate level of difficulty

  • Originality and creativity

  • Practical application

  • Completion time

  • Adherence to submission guidelines
