SQL Server LocalDB

Other than creating an ODBC DSN is there a way to connect to MS SQL Server local DB. 

 

I know Alteryx uses ODBC to connect to Sql Server but wasnt sure how to make it connect to a local db instance.

did you try with OLEDB then SQl server Native Client?

 

i have local DB for my ASP Project as below and just tested . seems i am able to see the DBs .

Clearly incompetence on my part, tried that and couldnt get it to work.

 

Now working fine!
