SharePoint List Tool and Stored User/Password Workaround

I have a couple workflows that pull an updated list of a few thousand records from a SharePoint list each morning.  The process runs just fine until I change my password and then I need to download and fix the workflows in question.  When I forget to do this I end up with failures.    I wish this process would just use the saved credentials on the server so I could just upload it there once and be done.

What are the best options for dealing with this tool or any tool that forces you to store a hardcode user/pass so I can avoid this in the future.  Am I missing something obvious?   I do not wish to store them somewhere on the server in clear text for obvious reasons.
