Issue with downloading workflows - Designer needs to restarts

Has anyone had an issue with Designer needing to restart to run a downloaded workflow?
Previously (before switching laptops) when I downloaded an example workflow from the community or gallery it would open in Designer immediately.
Now when I download a workflow "InstallAware" pops up and initiates an install and asks to close Alteryx and I restart my laptop.
Anyone have a workaround for this issue?

It appears that your Alteryx is somehow corrupted. Can you try to reinstall it with "Run as Adminstrator" option on?
