I was just wondering if there was a way to highlight your outputs on an Excel file output. I have created a table rule and highlighted exactly what I want, but when I go to output the data the highlighting is gone. If there is any way to do this please share.

I am not no, just using the output data tool.
You need to use the Render Tool to keep the formatting you applied in your Table Tool.
The Render Tool has options to output to Excel Files.
In Report Data > Data Field - you should select your Table object from Table Tool.
