Handwritten data

Hi 

Can anyone confirm if Alteryx can convert hadwritten information such as this below to an excel output.  It would seem that the image to text should do it but i can not seem to get this running

Yes it can, and the Image to Text tool would be your best bet (preceded by Image Input to grab the image)!

Hi Alex, Yes i did try that as you can see i the image below, however I must be missing something obvious as I see not out from the "Image to Text" node.

I personally think this will not work 
as this is not so clear and also handwritten
 Image to Text tool works for data which is clear and recognizable.

It looks like the Image to Text tool is getting an error - have you configured it to the correct column?

Also I see the image is very grainy - in between these tools you can put down an Image Processing tool to hopefully help make the image easier for OCR to read. But it may be difficult overall since it would be hard for the OCR tech to tell what's a zero versus and o and things like that

Not sure quite how to configure a column as the image input tool only seems to create a Blob that is then used in the Image to Text tool.   Did I miss a step between these?  Image processing doesnt seem to provide any further clarity.  Perhaps I am not understanding the point of the Image to Text node and it doesnt work with these types of handwritten text and only very precise text in images

@MarkGi I don't get an error with the image to text tool, but I don't get useful data out the image.

Do you have a better quality image?

Thanks for looking also Ollie,  I am trying to get a better image or teh original from the colleague.  I will see if its better when it arrives.
