Hey All,
I've been running into a pretty consistent issue using the ConsumerView Matching macro on desktop, specifically during a fuzzy match step:
"Error: ConsumerView Matching (2): Tool #846: Record #1: Tool #198: Record does not fit in packet, needs 4998784 bytes"
Generally, desktop will also throw "Error: Designer x64: The Designer x64 reported: You have found a bug. The pipe has been ended."
The error always occurs in the Fuzzy Match tool contained under the Fuzzy Name/Address Child macro, and generally after batch 1 or 2. I've noticed that if I limit the macro input to ~100k records (a single batch), the macro will often run successfully (although not 100% of the time). Anything over and I'll receive the above errors.
The workflow in question only contains an input .yxdb file of ~3 million records, the ConsumerView matching macro, and output. The ConsumerView Matching tool is configured to match only on name and addresses that have already been through CASS.
Any advice on how to get around this?
I am getting the same error message. Thinking it is the size of the file being processed. Did you ever resolve?
I was unable to find a definite solution, but I believe you're spot on with the file size. The easiest workaround for me was to just limit the record input and run files through one subset at a time. The occasional computer restart would often fix the issue as well.
