Error in workflow

Hello,
I'm getting the following error when running a workflow.
The 2017-10-10 Windows security patch prevents the Jet driver from reading .xls files; install the 2010 32-bit Access driver
The workflow I'm running is near identical to the example in the following guide:
The workflow works with no issue if I go into the folder and open/close the excel file before it runs. If I don't, then it errors out. My Access drivers are currently 14.00.7248.5000
I've seen a lot of older posts in regards to this and having to update drivers, but I'm on a more current version of Alteryx 2020.1.5.25447 and drivers. This issue did not seem to affect my colleague that was running it before he left.

I tried reinstalling the driver AccessDatabaseEngine_X64 as I have 64-bit Office Products on my laptop and it wouldn't let me install the 32 bit driver. This was already on my laptop so I repair/replaced it and the workflow still error out this morning. Opening the excel sheet manually then closing it and running the workflow works fine, but not if I just let it run on the schedule.
